GeoPDF Composer allows you to GeoRegister maps in PDF format using standard cartographic techniques. The accuracy of the results of GeoRegistration is dependent upon the following factors:

• The accuracy of the original PDF map source
• The care taken in defining registration points
• The accuracy of the points used in GeoRegistration
• The correctness of the projection parameters entered

The use of coordinates obtained from a GeoRegistered PDF file should be carefully considered based on your confidence in these factors. If you do not use this software correctly, your maps will not be accurate. TerraGo does not recommend that you use maps manipulated with GeoPDF Composer for navigation purposes.
