Selecting a source image file
In the Source Image File text box, type the location path and file name of the source image file. This is a required field. You can also click the ellipsis button to open the Select Source Image File dialog box through which you can navigate to the location of your image file. Select the file and then click Open.
Selecting a destination file
In the Destination GeoPDF File text box, type the path where you want the GeoPDF file(s) to be created.
You can also click the ellipsis button to open the Select Destination GeoPDF File dialog box through which you can navigate to the location for your output GeoPDF file(s).
Leave the text box empty to allow the file generation process to generate the GeoPDF file(s) in the same location as the source image file.
If your source image file is ADRG file format, the field label changes to Destination GeoPDF Folder. Clicking the ellipsis button opens the Browse For Folder dialog box through which you can navigate to the folder or create a new folder in which the output GeoPDF files are generated.You can save file parameters in two different ways:
- By creating an .XML configuration file containing specific file generation parameters for use on multiple source image files.
- By saving the source image file and .XML project file from your current session.

Saving configuration file parameters
You can use the Publisher for Raster user interface to create an .XML configuration file that contains specific file generation parameters for multiple source image files and then run that .XML configuration file when you batch process via the Command Prompt with --config=.
Saving project file parameters with a source image file
If you want to save your current session and create a workspace showing all the information about how your GeoPDF files were created, you can use the Publisher for Raster user interface to save those source image file settings with the .XML file generation parameters. The .XML project file can also be used with a batch process using the command prompt.

Saving your file parameters
Configuration file parameters
To save configuration file parameters as an .XML configuration file, navigate to File > Save Configuration. Type the name of the .XML configuration file in the File name box and click Save.
If you are altering an existing .XML configuration file, navigate to File > Save Configuration As and rename the file.
Project file parameters with a source image file
To save a project as an .XML configuration file and a source image, navigate to File > Save Project. Type the name of the project in the File name box and click Save.
If you are altering an existing .XML configuration file for the source image file, navigate to File > Save Project As and rename the file.
